Private dining · London
A restaurant evening, at your own table.
Chef Sinclair is a London-based private chef serving elevated Caribbean cuisine in homes, apartments and private venues across the city — a full tasting menu, cooked and served where you live.
Caribbean fine dining, brought to a London address
Private dining should feel like the best restaurant you have been to, without the journey home. Chef Sinclair designs each evening around the room it happens in: the number of guests, the shape of the table, the length of the night and what is at its best in the markets that week.
The cooking is unmistakably Caribbean and unapologetically precise. Jerk spice, scotch bonnet, plantain, cassava, callaloo, tropical fruit and aged rum are treated with the technique and restraint of a fine-dining kitchen — smoked, cured, reduced and plated course by course.
Every booking includes menu consultation, sourcing, preparation in your kitchen, service at the table and a kitchen left exactly as it was found. You host; the chef takes care of the rest.
How an evening runs
After your enquiry, Chef Sinclair proposes a menu shaped by your occasion and any dietary requirements. He arrives ahead of service to set up, then plates and introduces each course through the evening — usually two to three hours across six courses — before clearing down completely.

Private dining, answered.
- What is private dining at home?
- Chef Sinclair brings a full fine-dining experience to your address: menu design, shopping, preparation, service at the table and a spotless kitchen afterwards. Your dining room becomes the restaurant for the evening.
- Which parts of London do you cover?
- All of central and Greater London, including Chelsea, Kensington, Notting Hill, Mayfair, Islington, Hackney, Canary Wharf, Richmond and Hampstead. Bookings elsewhere in the UK and internationally are welcome by arrangement.
- How many guests can you cook for?
- The tasting menu is at its best for two to twelve guests around one table. Larger celebrations and canapé-style receptions can be arranged on request.
- Do you cater for dietary requirements?
- Yes. Vegetarian, pescatarian, gluten-free and allergy-conscious versions of the menu are prepared as standard — share the details when you enquire.
- What kitchen do you need?
- An ordinary domestic kitchen is enough: an oven, hob, sink and a little counter space. Chef Sinclair brings the rest, including specialist equipment and serviceware where needed.
- How far in advance should I book?
- Two to four weeks is comfortable for most dates. Weekends in December and around key celebrations fill earliest, so enquire as soon as you have a date in mind.
